The game companies don’t mind paying such amounts to the online gamers as this way they have a way to ‘test’ the games before the games are completely finalized and in case these paid online gamers find any sort of discrepancies about a particular game, then immediate alteration is called for.  Thus later a perfect online game is released after such ‘tests’ are completed. Now a question might arise about programmers and that would be if they are supposed to be all the technically sound guys then why can’t they test the games themselves and save the company the trouble of hiring additional gamers. The answer is pretty simple. They are programmers and not gamers. A gamer or a game enthusiast would be able t find the game’s flaw much faster than a so called tech guy. Thus the gamer aptly justifies his or her role and also his or her pay. Thus getting paid to play online games is nowadays considered to be an offbeat profession that is also lucrative.
